McKinney and Allen, Texas will play host to several fun-filled, family activities on Easter weekend 2014. Here is but a short list of events the family will enjoy.
- Community Easter Egg Hunt at Creekwood: Creekwood United Methodist Church will host an Easter egg hunt for children from Preschool through 5th Grade. This free event happens Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 9 AM to Noon at Creekwood UMC in Allen, TX.
- 4th Annual Especially Needed Easter Eggstravaganza & Resource Fair. Founded to create an honoring and inclusive environment for those with special needs, Especially Needed will again host its annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Plans include an Easter Egg Hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny, bounce houses and other games. Special hunts will also be set up for individuals (including adults) needing wheelchair assistance. The event happens from 1 to 3 PM at the Ballfields at Craig Ranch.
- City of McKinney Easter Egg-stravagaza. Sponsored by the McKinney Parks and Recreation Department, this free event is held annually. Planned activities include an Easter Egg Hunt (with 30,000 eggs), a visit from the Easter Bunny, bounce houses, an Easter Train and other games. The fun-filled day begins at 11 AM, with the Easter Egg Hunt starting at 12 Noon and takes place on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch.
