Mardi Gras is going to the dogs! And in downtown McKinney, that’s a good thing. The 12th Annual Krewe of Barkus Mardi Gras Dog Parade & Festival will be held on Sunday, March 2nd from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.
This year’s theme is "Barkus Goes Back in Time" so pick your favorite era and dress up your pooch, make him a float and a matching costume! This is a fun event for the entire family to participate in. If you don’t have a dog, just come watch the festivities. In addition to the parade, there will be a costume contest, canine training and exercise demonstrations and plenty of vendors on site with dog related products and services,
